Essential Functions:
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management will provide strategic leadership in developing capital project budgets, preparing requests for qualifications and requests for proposals, managing the design process, providing project management, and monitoring project costs. The Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management is responsible for managing and maintaining the University's environmental, health and safety (EHS) program and ensuring compliance. Also, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management will provide leadership in all interactions with various state agencies in matters related to capital projects and assessment of facilities.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelors or advanced degree in business, management, finance, engineering, architecture, or a related field and seven years of experience in a complex organization with at least five years in senior level management is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Substantial experience in capital construction and project management in a higher education environment, government, or the private sector with a demonstrated record of effective analytical and organizational skills.
Successful candidate must have effective written and oral communication skills, high ethical standards, and a commitment to fairness and equity in the workplace.
Seven years of experience in a complex organization with at least five years in senior level management is required.
